Salty Sesame Kale Chips with Scallions

 
 

Ingredients

 
  • 1 bunch of kale 

  • 1 bunch of scallions

  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame oil 

  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt

  • 1 tablespoon of Sesame seeds

  • 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper or Spicy Seaweed Salt from Sierra Roots Wellness


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees 

  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper

  3. Tear kale leaves into chip-size pieces and add to a bowl 

  4. Add soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, and spices and mx thoroughly to evenly coat. 

  5. Lay out leaves on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes. Flip leaves and rotate pan and cook for another 7-10 minutes or until leaves are crispy. 

  6. Serve with freshly chopped green onion!
