Smoky Mezcal Melon Margarita

 
 

Ingredients

 
  • 2 - 3 sliced cubes of honeydew melon 

  • 1 ounce of agave syrup 

  • 1 ounce of triple sec

  • 1.5 ounces of mezcal 

  • 1 ounce of lime juice

  • Optional: Frozen melon ice cubes


Instructions

  1. Optional: A few hours before: Slice melon into cubes, save half in the fridge, and add several cubes to the freezer to act as ice cubes. 

  2. Add 2-3 cubes of melon to a cocktail shaker and muddle thoroughly 

  3. Add agave, triple sec, mezcal, lime juice, and ice 

  4. Shake until cold

  5. Strain and pour into a glass filled with melon ice cubes. 

  6. Optional: add a salt rim and a melon wedge to garnish.
