With nearly 280-days of sunlight, Tahoe doesn’t need to be a food desert. We can work within our climate constraints and harness the sun’s energy by employing 4-season growing techniques.

At our Sierra Agroecology Center we teach people about growing food in the mountains and through our Dome Raising Project we work to build geodesic greenhouses at schools, hospitals and backyards to increase our food security right here at home.
