Farmer: Jim Muck
Jim’s family has been farming this land since the late 1800s and he is the latest generation to farm. He is reinventing the farm by growing vegetables and marketing them directly to consumers. He sells at farmer’s markets, to small specialty food stores, natural food coops, and to wonderful restaurants in the Lake Tahoe and Sacramento regions. All of the food I provide is grown following organic practices.
Primary crops: leafy greens, herbs, lettuce, tasty seasonal vegetables like tomatoes, squash and cucumbers in the summer or broccoli, cauliflower and winter squash in the fall. I offer cherry tomatoes, and flowers.
